The Reset Technique: Returning to Neutrality

Today I want to share a very simple but powerful tool that came through during meditation, and it is called reset. This reset is something you can use after an argument, a difficult conversation, a stressful email, a family situation, or any moment where you notice there is a lot going on in the system.

Maybe there are many thoughts, many emotions, tension in the body, heaviness in the energy field, or old programs and stuck energies being triggered. It doesn’t really matter what the situation was. What matters is that when the situation is over, we allow it to be over.

Often what happens is that the outer situation is already finished, but inside the system it continues.

The person is no longer in front of us, the phone call has ended, the message has been sent, or the situation has moved on, but the mind is still going back to it. The body is still holding the tension, the emotions are still moving, and energetically we are still sitting in something that is actually no longer happening.

And this is what we don’t want, because when we keep carrying the energy of a situation, we are no longer fully here in the present moment with what is actually in front of us now. We are still connected to something that happened ten minutes ago, yesterday, or maybe even years ago. So the reset is the moment where we decide: Okay, this happened, there was a lot moving in the system, but now this situation is over, and I am done with this energy. I let it go. Reset.

This is not about pushing anything away, pretending nothing happened, suppressing emotions, or forcing yourself to be peaceful. It is much more an energetic letting go, where you allow the energy of the situation to leave the system because it is no longer needed. You can imagine giving it away, allowing it to move through the body from the root chakra up through the crown and out, or you can simply hold the intention and say inwardly: Reset.

Then sit for a few minutes and allow the system to come back to neutrality. Neutrality is very important, because neutrality is like zero. It is the place where you are no longer in the argument, no longer in the fear, no longer in the worry, no longer in the anger, no longer in the story, and no longer in the energies that were triggered by the situation.

You are back in yourself. You are back in the present moment. You are back in your personal highest truth. This reset is like taking a deep breath in and out for every cell of the body, because the body can soften, the energy field can clear, the mind can stop holding onto the situation, and the nervous system can come out of contraction.

From this space, everything looks different, because when we are in the middle of an emotional situation, we often do not see clearly. We see through emotions, old programs, old wounds, and the need to be liked, loved, understood, or seen in a certain way. This is why it is so important to reset before we continue acting, speaking, writing, or making decisions from that energy.

When we are in fear, we create from fear. When we are in worry, we create from worry. When we are in anger, we create from anger. But when we come back to neutrality, we can feel again what is actually true.

And from there, maybe something still needs to be said, maybe an action needs to be taken, maybe a boundary needs to be clear, or maybe nothing needs to happen at all and the whole situation can simply be dropped. But then it comes from a different place. It comes from neutrality, from truth, and from clarity.

It is also helpful to remember that every person sees reality through their own system, their own vibration, their own level of consciousness, their own programs, wounds, and life template. So when someone reacts in a certain way, they are reacting from their perspective. And when you really understand this, it becomes much easier to stop carrying their energy or making their reaction into something that has to stay in your system.

You don’t have to take it with you. You don’t have to keep replaying it. You don’t have to hold the whole situation in your body and energy field. You can simply say reset and come back.

You can use this with anything: after an argument, after watching the news, after reading something that affected you, after hearing something from a friend, after a family situation, after feeling someone else’s energy, or anytime you notice that the system has picked something up and is still carrying it. Just pause for a moment, take a deep breath, feel the body, and say: I am done with this energy now. Reset.

Then sit quietly and allow the body to understand that the situation is over. Allow the energy field to clear, allow the mind to stop holding onto what is no longer happening, and allow everything that is not needed anymore to move out of the system. If something still feels close to your field, you can also imagine taking that energy and moving it several dimensions away, opening a space there, placing it inside, and closing it, so it is no longer in your awareness and no longer something your system keeps touching.

The reset is not complicated, and the mind does not need to understand it fully. You do not need to analyze everything again and again, and you do not need to figure out every detail of why something happened before you are allowed to let it go. The situation is over, the energy is no longer needed, and so you reset.

You return to neutrality. You return to the present moment. You return to yourself. And the more you use this, the more the system learns that it does not have to carry everything, that it does not have to stay in old energies, and that it can come back to zero again and again.

Reset.

Neutrality.

Presence.

Your own Highest Truth.

Blessings,

Eva
