Patience on the Spiritual Path: Allowing Life to Unfold

When I tuned into the energies during our gathering, the first word that came was patience.

And yes, that is not always easy, right?

Often, we can already sense something we want to experience. We feel drawn toward a change, an opening, or a new possibility. We work toward it, connect with it, and then we would like it to arrive as quickly as possible. This happens in our everyday lives, and it happens on the spiritual path as well.

We may wonder: Why is this taking so long?

Why am I not experiencing what I feel is possible?

I see this with my child. When she wants something, she wants it now. Waiting can feel like a very big thing. And if we look honestly at ourselves, we can often recognize that same movement within us.

Something in our system is already reaching for the next experience.

In this human reality, things unfold through time. Sometimes something within us needs to change. Sometimes there is something we need to do. We are allowed to learn how to be here while that process takes place.

What the energies were showing me was a beautiful invitation to become more patient with ourselves and with whatever we are hoping to experience.

There is a lot of movement happening energetically. Yet at the same time, I could see the energies supporting us to become more grounded, bringing our attention into the present moment.

The image I was shown was a quiet field around our system. Outside that field, there might be a storm. But where we are, there is hardly even a little wind.

We can remain with ourselves, in our strength, with our attention available for what is here.

Within that quietness, it can feel as though very little is happening. And this is where patience becomes so helpful. A quieter experience does not necessarily mean that our process has stopped. There can be support in this stillness, allowing us to stay present while so much is moving around us.

Notice how often our attention travels into the past or reaches into the future. We think about what happened, what might happen, and what we would like to happen. When our attention comes back to the present, our experience of time can change. There is simply what we are experiencing now.

We can allow ourselves to be here. We can give our attention to what we are doing, to what is available, and to what life is bringing in this moment.

Over time, this patience can deepen into surrender. We become more able to allow what comes and to leave space for what has not arrived. The pressure within the system can soften.

And this also extends to other people. We are learning patience with their process, their timing, and their way of experiencing life. As this softens within us, the heart can open. More love becomes available in our relationships and in how we meet ourselves.

There was another part of the message that I found very beautiful. As we become quieter and more present, we can begin to perceive more of the guidance that is available to us.

In my experience, there is information and wisdom available through our soul, our light aspect, and the energies we are connected with.

When our attention is pulled in many directions, it can be difficult to notice what is coming in. As the system becomes quieter, we may become more receptive.

How we receive this is different for everybody. For some people, an opening happens quickly. For others, it takes time. And that is absolutely fine. You are absolutely fine where you are.

There is no need to turn receiving guidance into another thing that must happen immediately. Even here, we are invited to be patient. We can be open to what is available and allow our own way of receiving it to unfold.

So perhaps you can give yourself a little more space today.

Space to be where you are, to stay with what is here, and to allow your next step to become clear.

Be open. Be patient with yourself. There is room for your journey to unfold.

Love Eva❤️
